Congress MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao on Thursday hinted that a few more ministers associated with the issue of the controversial GOs that were issued in YSR's regime might be asked to resign from the Cabinet.
Talking to reporters, Rayapati said that the Congress High Command had asked ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and P Sabitha Indra Reddy to step down. He said that the party's High Command might soon take a decision on other ministers, too.
So far, 3 ministers - Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabitha Indra Reddy - were forced to resigned after they were named as accused in the Disproportionate Assets case of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. Three other ministers are facing similar charges, although the CBI did not name them in its chargesheets. (INN)
