Actor-turned-politician Venu Madhav faced a bitter experience on Friday in the Kodad Assembly segment.
Madhav, who has decided to contest as an independent candidate from Kodad, went to the office of the Returning Officer to file his nomination papers. However, the officials in the RO office told him that his papers were incomplete and asked him to submit another nomination form after filling in all the relevant details.
Following this, the actor decided to submit another set of nomination papers before the deadline on November 19.
He told mediapersons that he would visit the RO office once again either on Saturday or on Monday and file his nomination papers from the seat.
He also said that he had entered the political field with the sole objective of serving the people of the state.
Venu Madhav did his schooling in Kodada and became a mimicry artist in the same town.
