Chiranjeevi's Oxygen Bank Services Launched In Telangana

The services are being offered by the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, and have been set up under the supervision of the district presidents of the Chiranjeevi fans' association.
Hyderabad | 26th May 2021
The oxygen bank services announced by Telugu film actor Chiranjeevi a couple of days back were launched in Telangana today.

The services are being offered by the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, and have been set up under the supervision of the district presidents of the Chiranjeevi fans' association.

The star launched the services after several people lost their lives due to lack of oxygen after contracting Covid-19 in two Telugu-speaking states. He brought the banks into being in all the districts of Telangana within a week of his statements.

He also created a new Twitter account in the name of Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust for the establishment of the oxygen banks.

Speaking to media persons, Chiranjeevi said that the oxygen concentrators had been ordered from China, and that oxygen cylinders were being distributed after finding out the requirement of the banks.

He added that his son Ram Charan Tej was supervising the arrangements being made for the maintenance of the oxygen banks.
