Naidu Slams Jagan For Creating "Hurdles" For AP
While the government was working hard for the fast growth of the poor, the opposition leader was making a hue and cry about everything, the AP CM alleged.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today accused the Leader of the Opposition in the AP Assembly and the YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy of coming in the way of the state's development.
Addressing the "Janmabhumi Maa Vooru" meeting at Khajipet in the Kadapa district, Naidu launched a scathing attack on the former for indulging in mud-slinging activity on the TDP government.
While the government was working hard for the welfare and fast growth of the poor, the Leader of the Opposition was making a hue and cry about everything, he alleged.
Instead of supporting the welfare schemes, Jagan was shirking his responsibility and indulging in politics, he charged.
The main opposition party was resorting to criticizing a government which had got 33,000 acres of land for the capital city from the farmers and people in the region who had given up their plots voluntarily in response to the government's request, he said.
Naidu reiterated that he would keep all his promises, with a focus on the welfare of the poor and development. He also vowed to complete the Gandikota reservoir in one year, and the Galeru Nagari water works project in two years. NSS)
