The special court for CBI cases today adjourned to April 21 the hearing on the CBI petition seeking cancellation of bail given to YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who is allegedly involved in various criminal cases.
The day also saw the counsels for Jagan file counter-petitions against the petition of CBI.
The CBI had recently filed the petition seeking cancellation of the bail granted to Reddy, for allegedly trying to influence a crucial witness in a corruption case registered against him six years ago.
Reddy was given bail in 2013 with a warning not to tamper with evidence or influence witnesses. The CBI had registered the original case against Jagan upon a directive from the High Court for alleged cheating, criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust and corruption.
