Jagan Appears Before CBI Court In DA Case
The AP CM appeared before the special CBI court in Hyderabad today in connection with the disproportionate assets case against him, for the first time after becoming CM.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party supremo Y S Jaganmohan Reddy appeared before the special CBI court in Hyderabad today in connection with the disproportionate assets case filed against him, his party colleague Vijaya Sai Reddy and several bureaucrats of united Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan took a special flight from the Gannavaram airport at Vijayawada and landed at Begumpet to appear before the court.
The case has been under trial by the CBI court for the last eight years. Jagan appeared before the court for the first time today after becoming the Chief Minister. He last appeared before the court on March 22 of 2019. Later he had filed a petition pleading with the court to allow him to appear before the court through his advocate, but the court dismissed it and made it clear that he should attend the court proceedings in person.
