Raids On Lagadapati Kin's Offices
The CBI raided on Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal's brother Lagadapati Sridhar's offices at Madhapur, and has also served notices to 85 VVIPs.

The Central Bureau Of Investigation on Thursday conducted raids on Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal's brother Lagadapati Sridhar's offices at Madhapur, in connection with its ongoing investigations into the Emaar and Y S Jaganmohan Reddy cases.
The CBI sleuths conducted the raids in the morning at his Jubilee Media offices, and seized key documents and records.
Meanwhile, the CBI also served notices to 85 people, including noted film stars Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodhkar and Congress MLA K Chiranjeevi's son Ramcharan Teja, in connection with the purchase of villas at Emaar MGF Boulder Hills.
The CBI has asked them to personally appear for questioning as part of the investigation into alleged irregularities in the allotment of lands to Emaar and other investments in the project.
According to sources, the property was registered at Rs. 5,000 per square yard, as against the market price of Rs. 25,000.
CBI Joint Director V V Laxminarayana said the agency would question all people who have been served notices from 14 September.
He said that notices have been served on former Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas, Minister J Geetha Reddy, TDP chief N Chandrababau Naidu's daughter-in-law Brahmani, actor B Krishna's daughter Manjula, Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao's wife Sunita and son Sridhar, film director C Aswini Dutt's daughter Swapna Dutt and MLA R Damodar Reddy.
So far, the CBI has grilled 14 VIPs at their temporary headquarters, Dilkusha Guest House, in connection with the villas that they had purchased at Emaar MGF project. Laxminarayana also said that the CBI has seized almost 95% of the key documents in connection with the purchases.
Meanwhile, Jagati Publications vice-chairman Vijaya Sai Reddy came to the CBI office for questioning, for the 6th consecutive day. (INN)
