The Telangana High Court today adjourned the final hearing in a batch of cases filed by the AP CM urging it to quash the orders of the Special CBI Court dismissing his plea for exemption from personal appearance, to April 9, 2020.
The Telangana High Court today adjourned the final hearing in a batch of cases filed by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy urging it to quash the orders of the Special CBI Court dismissing his plea for exemption from personal appearance, to April 9, 2020.
The High Court asked the counsels appearing for Jagan and for the CBI to inform the Special CBI Court during the weekly hearing of the case on Friday about the cases pending before the High Court on the issue.
The CBI filed a counter affidavit in Jagan's petitions challenging the order of the Special CBI court dismissing his plea to grant him exemption from personal appearance in the disproportionate assets case and to allow his advocate to appear on his behalf during the case hearing on every Friday.
In its counter, the CBI opposed the plea of the AP CM and urged the court to dismiss his petitions.
