A Special CBI court on Saturday accepted the 11th chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the "quid pro quo" investments case against YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and others.
The chargesheet, filed by the CBI before the Principal Special Judge for CBI Cases on September 9 this year, was related to Indu Projects Ltd (Housing), which allegedly invested Rs 70 crores in various firms owned by Jaganmohan Reddy, in return for favours granted by his late father and the then Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajashekar Reddy.
The CBI had named 14 accused in its chargesheets.
The CBI Court has issued summons to all the accused including Jaganmohan Reddy, Ongole MP Y V Subba Reddy, Jagan's financial advisor Vijay Sai Reddy, senior IAS officer S N Mohanti, Indu Group chairman Shyam Prasad Reddy and P V Krishna Prasad.
The accused have been asked to appear before the court on December 19. (INN)
