BJP Win Will Ensure Development In Telangana: J P Nadda
The BJP national president accused CM K Chandrashekar Rao of leading a happy life with his family while all sections of Telangana were facing a lot of hardships.
BJP national president J P Nadda today said that the victory of his party would ensure development in Telangana.
Addressing a public meeting in Nagarkurnol district named Nava Sankalpa, he claimed that the country was progressing quite fast under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and that the union government had taken several steps for the development of poor and weaker sections of the society.
He said that the Modi government was giving subsidised rice to 80 crore people of the country, had built 4 crore houses under the PM Awas Yojana scheme, and was giving Rs 6,000 per annum to the farmers of the country under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. He added that poverty had dropped by 10% after Modi had become the PM.
He said that the Modi government was committed to the development of Telangana, too, unlike CM K Chandrashekar Rao who was leading a happy life with his family while all sections of Telangana were facing a lot of hardships.
Earlier, addressing a meeting of the party's Telangana leaders at Novotel hotel, Nadda said that the BJP would never compromise with the BRS in Telangana, and that there would be serious fight between the BRS and the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections. He called upon the party leaders to work hard with a goal to win the Assembly elections in the state.
