Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy on Monday asked erstwhile leaders of his party to introspect first before criticizing the party.
He also said that those who had left the party were guaranteed to return to its fold in the future. He claimed that the party had several leaders who were working to realise its goals.
Referring to the statement of TDP Rajya Sabha member Garikapati Mohan Rao that the latter had quit the TDP after being fed up with the attitude of the state party leader, he condemned it and said that the party was forced to contest in just 13 Assembly constituencies in last year's state elections due to certain specific circumstances.
Targeting BJP leaders, he asked them to remember the fact that they had failed to get deposits in 105 Assembly constituencies in the State elections of 2018. He dared BJP National Working President J P Nadda, who was now targeting KCR for his alleged corruption in the governance of the state, to order an inquiry into the "irregularities" committed by the CM.
