Vote BJP To Power For Change: J P Nadda

The BJP president said that Telangana CM KCR had forgotten the sacrifices made by hundreds of youth, and was completely busy working for his family.
Hyderabad | 23rd November 2023
BJP national president J P Nadda today called upon the people to vote for the BJP to change the face of Telangana for the better.

Participating in election campaigning on Thursday, Nadda said that BRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had forgotten the sacrifices made by hundreds of youth and was completely busy working for his family.

"At the time of its formation, Telangana was the richest State in India, with a surplus budget. Now it is totally debt-ridden due to family-centric rule. The BJP is the only party that can fight family rule, not only in Telangana but across the country - we are fighting the Farooq and Mufti families in Jammu & Kashmir, the Prakash Singh Badal family at Punjab, the Chautala family in Haryana, the Lalu family in Bihar, the Akhilesh family in Uttar Pradesh, the Karunanidhi family in Tamil Nadu, the Mamata family in West Bengal, the Jagan family in Andhra Pradesh and the KCR family in Telangana," he said.

He also said that the BJP could take everyone along in the path development in the name of "Sab Ka Sath Sab Ka Vikas", which was not in the agenda of family-centric parties.

Deriding the performance of the BRS in power, Nadda said that Telangana had the highest inflation in the country. The Dharani portal had become a "Harani" portal, grabbing the lands of farmers; pillars of the Rs 1.2 lakh crore Kaleshwaram project were sinking due to corruption; MLAs sought 30% commission in Dalit Bandhu; and crores of rupees were collected in the Miyapur land scam, he alleged. He also said that the funds being released by the Centre for the State were not being used for what they were sent for.

"Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has also thrown fairness to the winds just to pander to vote banks. He is appeasing a religion with 4% reservation, and now he is promising to take it to a whopping 12%. We will remove religious-based reservations, and extend them to those who deserve it," Nadda added.

Appealing to the people to vote for the BJP, the BJP president said, "We have already announced establishment of a turmeric board in Telangana. Now the processing units will also come up. Rs 2 lakh will be deposited into the accounts of mothers soon after the birth of a girl child. SHGs will be offered 1% interest loans. Vote for the BJP for the all-round development of Telangana and to change its face for the better."
