Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today exuded confidence about the party's prospects in the upcoming MLC elections for two graduates' constituencies seats, and claimed that the party's candidates were sure to win the seats in both the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda and Rangareddy-Hyderabad-Mahabubnagar constituencies.
Speaking after attending a meeting of the party's election preparatory committee in Warangal, he said, "The BJP's candidates will surely grab the graduate MLC seats in the upcoming elections, replicating
our party's victory in the Dubbaka Assembly constituency by-election."
"The people of the state are fed up with the TRS' misrule, and have already been showing this by open support for our party. The unemployed graduates of the two constituencies are even working hard for our victory," he added.
He also claimed that the party would win the Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly by-election and the 2023 Assembly elections in the state as its cadres were working hard at the field level to ensure the same.
Following its dramatic success in both the Dubbaka Assembly seat by-election and the recent GHMC elections, the BJP is now preparing to also win the upcoming MLC elections. It recently held
a meeting to discuss its strategies for the campaign for the same where it decided to rope in union ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal, Prakash Javadekar and Sadananda Gowda for the campaign.
