Revanth Reddy A Rubber Stamp CM: Bandi Sanjay
The Union minister criticised the PCC chief's remark that the AICC, instead of the CM, would decide on cabinet expansion.

Referring to AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan holding a review meeting with a committee of ministers at the Secretariat, Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay today accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of functioning as a "rubber stamp" CM in Telangana.
Marking the BJP's Foundation Day, Sanjay hoisted the party flag first at his residence and later at the district BJP office in Karimnagar. He then addressed the media alongside BJP district president Gangadi Krishna Reddy, former president Basa Satyanarayana, former mayor Sunil Rao, Parliament convener Boinipalli Praveen Rao and others.
Sanjay also criticised the PCC president's statement that the final decision on the State Cabinet's expansion would be taken by the AICC leadership (instead of the CM).
"Deciding who should be in the Cabinet is the Chief Minister's prerogative. Announcing that the AICC will take that call, and allowing a Congress leader to review governance matters from the Secretariat, are enough - no more proof is needed that Telangana's administration is being run from Delhi," he said.
Sanjay hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, claiming India was witnessing significant progress in economic development and welfare initiatives. He alleged that however several Central schemes were not being properly implemented in Telangana.
"It is Modi's rice that is being distributed through the ration shops, not that of the State. The Central government spends Rs 37 per kilo, while the State contributes just Rs 10. Then why not display the Prime Minister's photo at these shops?" he asked.
He urged the BJP workers to go to the villages and educate the people about the Centre's contribution in all areas, from paddy procurement to rice distribution. "Every rupee is being paid by the Central government. Who is funding the development of villages?" he asked.
The Union minister also alleged that corruption had become rampant under Congress rule, and that the party's six guarantees had gone astray.
Sanjay also accused the Congress and the BRS of routinely collaborating to oppose the BJP, citing their joint participation in the delimitation meeting in Chennai and their unanimous opposition to the Waqf (Amendment) Bill.
He alleged that the two parties were working together once again for the upcoming Hyderabad MLC elections to ensure the victory of the AIMIM candidate.
"Both parties are trying to hand over the Hyderabad seat to the Majlis. This election is between a patriotic party and an anti-national one," he said, and added that Hyderabad corporators and voters needed to decide which side they stand on. He expressed confidence in the BJP candidate Gautam Rao, describing him as a committed party worker who represented the party's ideology.
