The presentation of the Andhra Pradesh budget was postponed in view of the death of party MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy, who represented Nandyal constituency in Kurnool district in the Assembly, on Sunday morning.
The AP budget was scheduled to be presented in the Assembly on Monday. Following the untimely death of Reddy, the government has decided not to conduct any business in the Assembly and Council tomorrow.
Instead, the Assembly and Council will meet on Monday morning at 9am and 10 am respectively just to condole the death of the late MLA, and will be adjourned immediately as a mark of respect.
The BAC is likely to meet tomorrow to decide a new date for the State budget presentation.
