The Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu, on Tuesday, stated that the party will soon take a final decision on Nandamuri Balakrishna seat in the upcoming elections, after discussing the issue with senior officials.
In a press statement following the launch of an online party membership facility, he said that identity cards will be issued to those who register themselves as members online.
Further, Naidu expressed confidence that the TDP will be strengthened further by next the Mahanadu.
However, Naidu did not say anything in regard to Balakrishna's plans for a Parliament seat or a Legislative Assembly seat.
In response to the Supreme Court
asking Pulivendula MLA Y S Vijayamma to withdraw her petition in connection with the disproportionate assets case, Naidu said that Vijayamma and MP Jaganmohan Reddy have no confidence in the courts and in their judgments.
He deemed their actions disrespectful to the judiciary, and alleged that politicians are trying to use the courts to settle political scores.
The TDP chief also slammed Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for not taking any measures to address the problems facing the people. (INN)
