Ripunjaya Reddy In ACB Custody
ACB officials claimed to have discovered illegal assets worth Rs. 4 crores; including cars, property, and gold in Hyderabad, Chittoor, Kadapa, and other places.
The Anti-Corrution Bureau (ACB) on Saturday recieved the custody of APPSC officer Ripunjaya Reddy for seven days, in relation to a case of disproportionate assetes to the tune of Rs. 4 crores.
Reddy was arrested by ACB last Wednesday following raids on his residence following allegations of his having stockpiled unaccounted-for assets worth over Rs. 100 crores.
ACB officials claimed to have discovered illegal assets including cars, property, and gold in Hyderabad, Chittoor, Kadapa, and other places.
Apart from this, there are reports of him having used his positions to take bribes worth lakhs of rupees in return for government jobs.
Earlier this week, ACB sought custody of Ripunjaya Reddy to conduct a week-long investigation.
