AP, TS Banks Unhappy With Naidu's Remarks

AP's and TS' banks showed strong dissent to the CM's remark that their staffs were being negligent during the "aftermath" of the demonetization.
Hyderabad | 3rd December 2016
The Andhra Pradesh - Telangana Regional Rural Bank Employee Association took strong exception AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's remark that their staff members' negligence was making the "aftermath" of the demonetization worse.

In a press note, Association General Secretary S Venkateswar Reddy said that the organization was astonished at the remarks passed by Naidu against the Bankers.

"The thoughtless remarks do not befit his stature and are demoralizing to the sincere workforce in banks in the present context of financial crisis. Rather it is the total failure of the State government in arranging for supply of cash to the bankers by pursuing it with the RBI and the Centre. They shouldn't blame bankers just to cover up for their lapses," Reddy said and demanded that the Chief Minister withdraw his demotivating comments and extend his support to banks in arranging cash from the RBI.

"We hope such demotivating comments which may compel us to agitate do not recur. Our employees need a morale boost and not reprehension," he added.
