AP Ex-Minister P Narayana Arrested
The founder of the Narayana Group of Educational Institutions was arrested by the AP police in Hyderabad today in connection with a crime.

Former minister of Andhra Pradesh, TDP leader and founder of the Narayana Group of Educational Institutions Dr P Narayana was arrested by the AP police from his residence at Lodha Apartments in KPHB Colony today.
The Chittoor police went to the residence of Narayana and interrogated him first. Later, they took Narayana and his wife Rama Devi along with them to AP after declaring his arrest.
The police arrested the ex-minister and businessman when he was taking part in his son's death anniversary program.
The police said that the arrest was made in connection with the Class X question paper leakage in a few private schools including some Narayana Schools.
Upon receiving the information of the arrest of Narayana, scores of employees of his educational institutions reached the toll gates en route AP in order to express their protest.
Interestingly, the arrest of Narayana took place in the wake of a statement by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy alleging that Narayana was behind the Class X question paper leakage scam.
The Chittoor police had previously also arrested the Vice Principal of a school in Tirupati of the Narayana Group of Educational Institutions, Giridhar Reddy, and others in the same case, a couple of days back.
