The Tahsildar, Peddemul (M), Rangareddy district, was caught red-handed by ACB officials on February 10, 2014, at about 6:00 pm at his office, when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs.15,000 as bribe from the complainant, for doing an official favour i.e. "to mutate 0-20 Guntas and 1 Acre of agricultural land purchased by the complainant and to issue the Pattadar Pass book".
The accused officer has been arrested and will be produced before the Honorable Ist Additional special judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad. (INN)
