Three persons were arrested in the disproportionate assets case of Siva Balakrishna, a former director of the HMDA.
In continuation of the investigation of the case, the Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested three private persons - Godavarthi Satyanarayana Murthy, Penta Bharath Kumar and Penta Bharani Kumar - who actively assisted and abetted Balakrishna in committing the offence of acquiring assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, by getting the properties registered on their names purchased from out of the ill-gotten sources of money belonging to Balakrishna.
The three accused were arrested today and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases for judicial remand.
