Former minister in united Andhra Pradesh Anam Ramanarayana Reddy joined the YSR Congress Party today, leaving the TDP.

Former minister in united Andhra Pradesh Anam Ramanarayana Reddy joined the YSR Congress Party today.

He joined the YSRCP in the presence of party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who was on a tour of the Visakhapatnam district as part of his walkathon.

For the uninitiated, Ramanarayana Reddy had worked as the finance minister in late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy's government. After the division of the state he lost the election, and later joined the TDP.

Reddy had however been maintaining a distance from the TDP for the last few months, and ending all speculations about his loyalty, joined the YSRCP today.
