The meeting of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Telugu film actor Junior NTR created a lot of political buzz in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Responding on the rumours swirling around it, Union Minister For Tourism and Culture G Kishan Reddy said that the duo had held discussions over the movies being produced in the country and the State.
He also said that the two had also talked about the political journey of senior NTR, former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh.
"They talked about the way in which senior NTR took his Telugu Desam Party to the public after retiring from movies," Reddy claimed.
Shah, who took part in a public meeting held in the Munugodu Assembly constituency, returned to the Shamshabad-based Novotel Hotel at 10:26 pm on Sunday night. Junior NTR too came to the hotel then along with Reddy and met Shah. NTR felicitated Shah with a shawl on the occasion, and Shah received NTR by giving him a bouquet of flowers. Shah and Junior NTR held a private discussion for about 20 minutes, and later had dinner along with Reddy, Telangana BJP in-charge Tarun Chug and State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
