According to reports, popular actor Rajnikanth on was Friday admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after he complained of dizziness.
The doctors in the hospital have reportedly stated that the superstar's blood-pressure had shot up, and that there was no danger to the 60-year-old actor's life.
Rajinikanth is likely to be discharged by Saturday evening, and has been advised to take complete rest for one week.
Incidentally, filming for his latest film, "Rana", was due to begin on Friday. The actor is believed to be essaying the roles of 3 characters in this film. This would be the first major film after the blockbuster hit "Robot". The film Rana will also star Bollywood heroine Deepika Padukone. (INN)
