Actor Rajinikanth, who had been
admitted to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills after his blood pressure recorded severe fluctuations, is now stable and recovering well.
A health bulletin released by the hospital said that though the actor was now healthy, he would only be discharged after all the test results were normal.
It also said that Rajinikanth, who had been tested for Covid-19 after several technicians on his film set had contracted the coronavirus, had tested negative for the same.
Reports say that it is likely that he will be discharged on Sunday evening.
Following the release of the bulletin, Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao wished Rajinikanth a speedy recovery.
The actor has been in the city since December 14 for the shooting of Tamil film Annaatthe in Ramoji Film City.
