Telangana ACB officials today recorded the statement of Special Chief Secretary (Municipal Administration) and complainant Dana Kishore in connection with the Formula E race case.
Following this, notices are expected to be issued to BRS working president and former minister K T Rama Rao, former Special Chief Secretary of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department Arvind Kumar, and B L N Reddy, the Chief Engineer of HMDA of that time.
The ACB is preparing to serve notices to the accused.
For context, Kishore had filed a complaint with the ACB on October 18 alleging that payments were made to a foreign company in violation of regulations for organizing the Formula E racing competition. The complaint claimed the government had incurred a loss of Rs 54.88 crore.
The ACB recently registered a case, naming KTR, who was the Municipal Administration Minister during the BRS regime, as the main accused (A1). Arvind Kumar (A2) and B L N Reddy (A3) were also named in the FIR.
