The Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal graduate seat MLC by-election recorded a voter turnout of 68.65% till 4 PM on Monday.
Officials of the Election Commission said that there was a possibility of a delay in revealing the complete polling percentage details as voters were still queuing up in some booths.
A total of 52 candidates are in the fray. The competition is however primarily between Theenmar Mallanna, who is contesting on behalf of the Congress, Rakesh Reddy of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Premender Reddy of the Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP).
The polling was held in 605 polling centres in 12 districts, from 8 AM to 4 PM.The result of the by-election will be out on June 5.
