2 persons were killed when they were hit by an MMTS train, while crossing the tracks at Kandikal Gate in the Old City, on Monday.

According to sources, one of the victims has been identified as Ismail of Babanagar. Efforts are on to identify the other victim, a woman.

The 2 were killed while crossing the railway track. They were hit by the Lingampally–Falaknuma MMTS train.

Police have shifted the bodies to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy, and a case has been registered.
