KCR Gives Ultimatum For Telangana

Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief KCR gave the centre 15 days to carve out Telangana after Srikrishna Commission report.
Hyderabad | 29th November 2010
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday stated that the people of Seemandhra and Telangana had already been separated psychologically.

Talking to media persons at TRS Bhavan, the Telangana leader said that the party would give 15-day time for centre to form separate Telangana state after the submission of Justice Srikrishna Commission report.

If the Centre did not take any decision on carving out of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh, the party would intensify its agitation in the Telangana region, KCR warned.

KCR also advised Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Director General Of Police K Aravind Rao not to provoke students by issuing harsh statements. He said that any provocative statement would create a law and order problem.

Today’s Students are tomorrows citizens, may it be SEEMANDHRA or TELANGANA, when it is clear that there is a demand for separate Telangana state from all sections of people and students in the region, then why is it that congress is playing, stupid games like SRIKRISHNA committee and all, it happened in the past also, what is that they want to achieve, close the chapter and form TELANGANA, let the future of India think of development and not the settlement, as it is happening all the time. Don’t play with future Indian citizens, mere formation of Telangana will not do any harm for people of SEEMANDHRA, both were separate states before formation of Telangana, then why? Politicians in SEEMANDHRA area are thinking selfishly for their personal gains and spoiling career of Telangana students.
