The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

I stay at h no.6-1, dee Nagar, chintal, next to shah theatre, Hyderabad. Drainage pipeline has been over flowing since one week from the main hole on the main road , infront of my house. People Getting fever because of this drainage. Pl do needful at the earliest.

Sir,We are staying at Mythrinagar,Road No.7, L B Nagar, Behind Aware Global Hospital,Biramalguda. The Garbage Lifter in our lane every fourth day is coming to collect the Garbage, due to this garbage is accumulating huge quantity and bad smell coming, when we ask Garbage Lifter why are you not coming alternate day, his reply was I went to my village like this he is reply. Also bring to your notice that the next lane of our house another garbage lifter is coming every alternate day. Kindly give instruction or arrange alternate person for Garbage Lifting.

Hi Sir we are staying in chandanagar ,No C2-2,Lig ,Huda Colony.Here Here Garbage cleaning people are demanding 100/- per month effective from 1st January 2020previously they are collecting 50/- per month. If we ask them they are saying GHMC not paying salaries to us that's why we are collecting money. Is this true please let us know, I tried to calling to GHMC customer care number it is not getting connected.Please respond to my request

There is a chicken shop in middle of residential flats. There is bad smell , mosquitoes and house flies and they won't even clean the place . All the people who are living nearby are facing lot of problems.

Sir I am single parent after struggling a lot with apartment association I dint got my problem solution. Sir as per your ghmc garbage picker he use to come daily and regularly on time at 7am, but here in apartment more than 50% flat owners are throwing there garbage starts at 7.30 and the garbage will remain till next day morning, I requested every one and even in association that before 7am you please clear your garbage ,and keep the day garbage at home in a closed dustbin until. But I am suffering a lot from unhygienic oxygen,mosquitos, snakes, as I stay at the ground floor which is near to entrance gate, and the garbage drums are kept in front of my door itself,
Its my humble request sir please look after my issue at the earliest,
Kindly treat it as my humble request, I dint mean any complaints against your employees.

I am from Nacharam.There are lot of mosquitoes at my place.can someone send the team with tht mosquitoes medicine and street light also not working in Raghavendranagar near kamala school street nubr :7 Annapurna colony pole nubr 1409 and 1411 are not working form last 4 weeks so plz solve the above issue sir..
