The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Sir ,
I am a residence of old neredet area. We are facing problem with poor underground drainage system in our area,the water could not go to pipe line which is newly laid down as we were connected old pipe line which is blocked. It is causing overflow of drainage water into houses and causing reason for mosquitoes. Please take some action in this regard. We will be thankful for action

Against my complaints dt.16-Mar and also 20th Mar 2017, it is stated"Reporting of comment disabled". I am unable to understand whether my grievance has been resolved and if so will it not be fair to send a line of confirmation to the complainant thro' the blog if not thro' the mob.cell

The Universal Bakery near Paradise on MG Rd feels shy of displaying the prices of bakery items in the shelf. When other Bakeries small and big can do it, I am unable to understand why Universal Bakery should not follow the simple etiquette.
I request you to kindly put him under discipline and impose the penalty for violating the basic rule.

Iam posting a comment regarding mosquito problems in langer house.many of the people suffered from fever.even ghmc people is not concentrate on mosquito.every day we are facing so much problem with mosquito i request you are authority to look into the matter and solve the problem as soon as possible so that all the people will live at langer house without any health problem....very very urgent

Sir,
Near Kalyanpuri colony Uppal Hyderabad there are official waste collector.Due to that every one are throwing their waste on side by roads and it's been 15 years we are staying in our place but no one are responding on closing up the drainage beside our home and there are cell towers in the near by home terrace and creating lot of health problems due to high radiations none of them are caring about it please respond.

Dear sir, The receipt of my property tax shows my house in 'PRAGATI NAGAR' instead of '' DEENDAYAL NAGAR'. The Tax assessment order and other documents show correctly as 'DEENDAYAL NAGAR'. Necessary correction in the computer documents in the Malkajgiri area is requested.

Has my complaint been booked and resolved? And if so can we have a line of confirmation. I repeat my complaint as under:
My house no.30-265/3/6 is located in 2nd Main Street of "DEENDAYAL NAGAR" , OLD SAFILGUDA.The property tax assessment order no.1170800783 dated 05-07-2010 also shows correctly the above address and is quoted in the tax receipts on payment of annual prperty tax in Malkajgiri office(circle no.17 of GHMC). But the receipt generated by the computer shows the location of the house in "PRAGATI NAGAR" wrongly. This mistake requires correction immediately before the tax for the year 2071-18 is due. Please solve this under intimation to me.

Sir, iam written lot of mails for street light not working past 1 month for h.no.3-5/23 opposite. As on today no one has came for repaired are enquired. It is main road of Bharat Nagar ramanthapur. Sir please taken action on these mail and slove the problem immediately.

We r residents of new sainathpuram, we have booked a complaint about over flow of drainage in our street on 11 march in the morning to mr. Nagaraj sanitary inspector , but he was saying that there are no vehicles to send and not responding we request you sir to pl look over the matter as soon as possible as there is foul smell prevailing in front of our houses and causing nausea and giddiness

My property tax name not changed . i was applied and submitted all documents and fee also paid on last December - 2016. at that time they told me one month time only. its take to change the name. but till date it is in old name why there is no reason, (my ptin no:1090144061). i request you please change the name. and this year tax payee name will be my name only and dont send by old name
