The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Hi Sir, I have a very big problem the tree branches are falling frequently on my home because of that I have threat to our lives because of that fallen branches my home is damaged badly there is no one to take responsibility to cut the tree branches. When I visited ghmc office they told not belongs to them they only cut those trees which were exist in between electric poles i dont know what to do next kindly plz help me.

My name is Madhavi resident of Kanajiguda Sai Sagar Enclave, my house number is 59. The owner of the house number 58 has put the drinking water pipe on 8-2-17 nd 9-2-17 cutting through the cemented road and has not filled the road with cement again after his work done. The contractor Mr. Pramod was responsible for the pipe to be laid, and the road to be cemented again but when contacted him on 20 -2-17 is not aware of the road not laid again, so please look into my complaint and do the needful.

I stay in yousufguda.
The persons who are coming to home to collect dust, they are demanding the money every month, they are getting salary even though demanding huge amount every month, If they ask to give according to satisfaction that is ok but they demanding in large scale, please take immediate action

Sir,lot of mails I have written, but no use for open nalas cleaning in Bharat Nagar colony ramanthapur from starting h.no 3-5/20 srinu and ending h.no 3-5/15 laxman house. Please do the needful. Do the work fast. Kindly take action on these.

I in house frontb street light is not glowing for past 15 days h.no. 3-5/23 in bharath Nagar colony main road, ramanrhapur. Kindly do it immediately because so dark on main road and school zone.

Sir above problem of street light h.no.3-5/23 in Bharat Nagar colony, ramanthapur has not solved. Sir report is showing action pending. Please look into it matter and solve our problem at the earliest. Already one month is over.

respected sir,
i am a resident of virath nagar opposite to government high school. here there is a always pases drainages in front my house and due to that i cannot go out and even my childrens health are getting affected,
i kindly request to please take some action as soon as possible and clear that.

Halo sir, I really appreciate GHMC for taking numerous steps to make our Hyd a better place to leave. But workers at ground level are the vital persons in execution. The auto driver cum dust picker organised by GHMC in vinayak nagar, balanagar is adamant and not at all helpful in extending his duties. People like him make all sincere efforts by GHMC go in vain. A serious warning may be given to him and advise him to be reachable to residents of this area.
