The Supreme Court has adjourned to April 29 the bail petition moved by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the disproportionate assets (DA) case.
Jagan's counsel had asked the court to serve notices on the CBI, and the court rejected the plea.
The CBI asked the court to adjourn the case, saying that it is "hard pressed for time". The apex court had adjourned the case to April 30 initially.
However, other cases, of Nimmagadda Prasad and Vijay Sai Reddy, were also adjourned to April 30. Considering the possibility of one case being influenced by another since all the three cases were set to come up for hearing on the same day, the Supreme Court adjourned Jagan's case to April 29.
The other two cases will come up for hearing on April 30. (INN)
