Zurich: Naidu Exhorts CEOs To Set Up In Amaravathi
In Switzerland for the WEF, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu asked the CEOs of Indian companies to set up their offices in Amaravathi, the new capital of the State.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today called upon the CEOs of Indian companies to set up their offices in Amaravathi, the new capital of the residuary State.
Delivering special remarks to the Indian community in Zurich (the AP CM is in Switzerland for the World Economic Summit in Davos), Naidu said, "We are working towards building the most liveable city. Working with us will help increase your productivity."
He also explained his vision to build one of the best, bluest and greenest cities in the world.
Rahul Bajaj, Chairman, Bajaj Auto; Vishal Sikka, CEO, Infosys; Sunil Mittal, Chairman, Bharti Enterprises; Ajay Piramal, Chairman, Piramal Enterprises Ltd; and Suzlon Tulsi Tanti, Chairman, Suzlon, were among the 100 CEOs who turned up at the event.
The Chief Minister told the members take advantage of the young India to make India a global economic powerhouse. He said that India was progressing rapidly and that Andhra Pradesh had become a favorite destination for investments.
He also explained the advantages of AP and its long coastline which would help it become the logistics hub for South East Asia.
He said that the tremendous success of the CII Partnership Summit had bolstered the State's brand. It would soon emerge as an industrial and innovation hub, he claimed.
Naidu also elaborated on the State government's innovative practices to bring in transparent governance. He explained about the digitization of the government's services, and how he wanted his bureaucracy to compete with the best in the private sector.
