Young India Sports University Soon: Sridhar Babu

Telangana IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu today announced that a Young India Sports University would soon be established in Telangana to promote the development of all sports.

As part of this initiative, dedicated sports academies would be set up in each district to support and nurture talent across various disciplines, he said.

The minister said that he was committed to ensuring that rural youth received proper training and opportunities in sports.

He also urged youngsters to develop their athletic skills alongside academics, highlighting the importance of a well-rounded education.

Babu made these statements at the Ministers' Quarters, where he handed over appointment letters to Kosaraju Lakshman, who was recently appointed Advisor to the Telangana Badminton Association, and Venkata Ramana Reddy, who was appointed Media Coordinator.

As President of the Telangana Badminton Association, the minister briefed them on their roles and encouraged efforts to further expand the reach and impact of badminton across the State.
