Sharmila, Vijayamma Meet Jagan

A day after concluding her "Maro Praja Prasthanam" padayatra, YSR Congress leader Sharmila met her brother and party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, at Chanchalguda Jail, on Monday.

Sharmila, accompanied by mother Y S Vijayamma and Jagan's wife Bharathi, went straight to meet Jagan after landing at the Shamshabad airport on Monday morning.

"Jaganmohan Reddy is very happy with the way the Padayatra has gone. He appreciated us, and we thank God and all the people who have blessed us, co-operated with us and extended their unfailing love," she said, after meeting Jagan.

It may be recalled that Sharmila undertook a 230-day long padayatra that was launched on October 18 at Idupulapaya. The padayatra concluded at Ichapuram on Sunday. (INN)
