Congress MLA Anan Vivekananda Reddy on Thursday said that the party would not allow Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to return to its fold.
Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office, Anam said that the party would not welcome Jagan's re-entry into the Congress, under any circumstances.
However, he said that the possibilities of Jagan returning to Congress are weak. He speculated that the Congress MLAs who had joined the YSR Congress party could return to the parent party any time.
Anam said that Jagan has started losing the faith of legislators who had joined him after leaving the Congress. He said that previously, about 30 MLAs were supporting the YSR Congress, and that the number has now reduced to 20. He said that the number might even reduce to just 10 in the next few days.
The Congress MLA appreciated N Kiran Kumar Reddy's performance as Chief Minister in the last one year. He also expressed hope that Kiran Kumar Reddy would complete his full term in office. (INN)
