Nellore MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy, on Tuesday, stated that the Congress would expose those who indulged in corruption and were responsible for encouraging corruption in AP, in the ongoing by-elections campaign.
Talking to media persons, Vivekananda Reddy said that the party has not made up any clear guidelines over exposing the corruption that had taken place during successive governments. He said that the people would know under whose tenure corruption was rampant and how the wealth of the state was looted.
The minister said that the CBI would come out with the list of accused who were involved in corruption after it completes its investigations in various cases.
"The entire world will know who was corrupt and accumulated wealth through illegal means," he said.
He alleged that Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy had misused the official position of his father, former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, in accumulating illegal wealth.
Anam said that those who had indulged in corruption were the heirs of YSR and not those of the Congress.
Stating that the Congress earlier used the photos of Mahatma Gandhi, anf those of former prime ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, he said that the party would go to the by-elections campaign without using YSR's photo this time. (INN)
