YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy left for Jerusalem today, along with members of his family, including mother Vijayamma.
The Kadapa MP was scheduled to leave for Jerusalem on 3rd June, but his departure was postponed thanks to events in the political arena in the state - the elections for the Assembly Speaker, the TDP's notice for a no-confidence motion against the Congress, and the government's move to table a confidence vote.
Jagan is set to return on 12 June, after which he is set to take part in dharnas on farmers issues, on 13 June. The dharnas will be held at district collectorates.
