The CBI court permitted Y S Bharathi, wife of YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, to stay with him till he is discharged from NIMS.
Jagan had been admitted to the hospital after his health deteriorated due to a hunger strike, that he had started in order to protest the Centre's decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.
The orders were given today, following a private memo moved by Bharati on Friday, seeking permission to allow her or Vijayamma to be with Jagan in the hospital in view of his deteriorating health due to the indefinite fast. While admitting the petition, the special court posted the case for orders on Saturday.
The court said that Bharathi could stay with Jagan from 8am to 4pm, during the period he is at the hospital. Following the court's orders, Bharathi immediately reached the Nizam's Institute Of Medical Sciences, where Jagan was shifted to, from the Osmania General Hospital last night. (INN)
