YSR Congress president and Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was quizzed for the second consecutive day on Saturday, by the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI), in connection with the case of his alleged disproportionate assets.
According to sources, the CBI sleuths grilled Jagan on the alleged irregularities in the allotment of lands to Vodarevu and Nizampatnam Ports, and to the Industrial Corridor (VANPIC) project. The interrogation went on for over 7 hours.
Jagan was questioned in the presence of 2 other accused, industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad and former bureaucrat K V Brahamananda Reddy.
"It was cool and peaceful. Clarifications were sought, clarifications were given," Jagan said, after coming out of the CBI's temporary headquarters at Dilkusha Guest House on Saturday evening.
Jagan said that he had answered all the questions asked by the CBI in a conducive atmosphere.
He said that the CBI officials had asked him to come back for questioning on Sunday as well. (INN)
