Jagan Assets: CBI Seizes Documents
The CBI raided several of Jagan's companies, including Pulivendula Polymers, Classic Realty, Jagati Publications, Indira Television, Dalmia Cements and India Cements.

CBI Joint Director V V Laxminarayana on Thursday stated his sleuths are searching companies that have invested in the companies owned by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Talking to media persons after searching Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's residence, Laxminarayana said the CBI seized several computers, hard disks, files and other documents from Bharati Cements Limited, a company founded by Jagan.
The CBI sleuths were searching senior IAS officer B P Acharya's residence, too.
Emaar properties offices in major metros are also being raided as part of the investigation, Laxminarayana said.
The CBI Joint Director said that the sleuths also conducted raids on other companies of Jagan, including Pulivendula Polymers, Janani Infra, Classic Realty, Jagati Publications, Indira Television, Mantri Developers in Bangalore, Dalmia Cements in New Delhi and India Cements in Chennai.
Laxminarayana said the CBI would issue notices to question all those who had business relations with Jagan.
"Notices will be issued tomorrow to top businessmen including Nimmagadda Prasad, and the managements of India Cements and Dalmia Cements," he stated.
Laxminarayana has also asked Vicat, a fresh company that purchased a 51% stake in Bharati Cements, to appear for the questioning.
He said the CBI formed 32 teams to conduct raids across the country, and that more than 180 places have been identified for raids and searches. The CBI sleuths have also hired 4 video cameramen to shoot the search operations.
Laxminarayana said the searches on Jagan and Emaar properties will continue till Friday, and that details of the raids would be given to the media after a complete assessment of the property. (INN)
