CBI Court Drops 2 Sections In Jagan's Chargesheet

The CBI court turns down two sections from the chargesheet filed against Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, with respect to the Disproportionate Assets case.

Providing fresh breakthroughs in the Jagan Disproportionate Assets case today, the CBI court turned down some of the sections with which Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was charged.

The court said that Y S Jaganmohan Reddy cannot be booked for breach of trust (section 409), neither under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The CBI has named the PC Act and IPC 409 in the 5th chargesheet filed in connection to the Dalmia Cements case.

Sabitha Indira Reddy was also charged with involvement in the Dalmia Cements fraud. Her fate is yet to be decided. (INN)
