Jagan Scam: CBI Files 3rd Chargesheet
The 88-page chargesheet contains the statements of 72 witnesses, besides having 143 documents.

The CBI, on Monday, filed the 3rd chargesheet against Kadapa MP and YSR Congress party president Jaganmohan Reddy, in connection with the disproportionate assets case.
According to reports, the 88-page chargesheet contains the statements of 72 witnesses, besides having 143 documents.
In the chargesheet, the CBI has accused Jagan of conspiring with his father and former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, to get several favours for certain companies, in return for the investments these companies made in his businesses.
It may be mentioned here that in August last year, the CBI booked cases against Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and 73 other companies and individuals.
Apart from accused number 1 Jaganmohan Reddy, the other names in the chargesheet include Jagathi Publications vice-chairman Vijay Sai Reddy, Ayodhya Rami Reddy, IAS officer G Venkatrami Reddy, and Ramky Pharma. G Venkat Reddy is currently the district collector of Srikakulam.
The third chargesheet contains details of undue favours granted to a company called Ramky Pharma during YSR's regime.
In the chargesheet, the CBI mentioned that Venkat Reddy had allotted 1,500 acres of land to Ramky Pharma at Parawada in Visakhapatnam district, during his stint as Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority Chairman, violating rules and regulations.
Ramky Infra has also been accused of depositing Rs. 10 crore in the accounts of Jagathi Publications, a firm owned by Jaganmohan Reddy.
The CBI filed the first chargesheet on 31 March, followed by a second one on 23 April. (INN)
