World Telugu Meet Rally Launched In Medak

Telangana Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy held a rally for the World Telugu Conference, as part of the preparatory programs for the upcoming mega event.

Telangana State Assembly Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy on Sunday held a rally for the World Telugu Conference, in Medak.

Reddy flagged off the rally as part of the preparatory programs for the upcoming mega event being held in Hyderabad from December 15 to 19.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that the state government was making elaborate arrangements to organize the World Telugu Conference on a grand scale. The mega event would be attended by over 10,000 people, including delegates, guests, scholars, poets, literary personalities, language experts and others, she said.

Reddy said that the conference would offer due recognition to the poets and writers of Telangana who had contributed immensely to the development of Telugu.

The rally marked a strong attendance of women. The teachers and students of several schools also participated.
