Winding up his two-day tour to the Nizamabad district, Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao today claimed that the TRS government was able to successfully tide over the power crisis haunting the State for 30 years.
"Upon coming to power our government addressed all the difficulties of power sector," he said.
The TRS government, he said, would also keep its promise of offering 24-hour uninterrupted 3-phase power supply by 2019.
He added that the TRS' successes in this and other areas were winning the hearts of the people, who were showing it by supporting the Party in all elections held recently.
KCR also said that the government was determined to construct new Secretariat and Assembly complexes, and get loans for welfare schemes, despite criticism and comments.
He also asserted that the government would keep its promises of providing free double bedroom housing for two generations, and completing the irrigation projects and other welfare schemes.
He slammed the Congress for allegations on the double bedroom scheme, which was being lauded by other States, and also for relentless criticism of the government for the latter being bent on completing the irrigation projects in time.
"We will get the people's cooperation and support as witnessed during the recent elections, for all our initiatives, even if the Opposition will not support us," he said.
KCR sanctioned Rs 1 crore for the Banswada constituency, in addition to allotting Rs 15 lakhs each for 76 village pachanyats in the segment. He also vowed to supply waters to Nizamsagar from the Kaleshwaram project.
