The board issued some guidelines to be followed during the Namaz or prayers. Muslims of the state may attend prayers in mosques with upto 50 persons persons in a mosque and by maintaining a 2 metre distance from each other, and using masks and sanitisers.

Muslims may perform prayers twice to mark the occasion, the board said.

The board also restricted Muslims from performing prayers at idgahs, to check the coronavirus spread.

Large groups will not be allowed to congregate during the festival, either, the board added.
