Visas To Kin To Bring Back Sharath Koppu's Body
Along with MPs Banda Prakash and Balka Suman, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and MLA Aroori Ramesh Srihari, KTR visited the home of the family of Koppu and consoled the members.

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, IT Minister K T Rama Rao, Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and others today consoled the bereaved family members of the Sharath Koppu who was allegedly murdered in the US.
Along with MPs Banda Prakash and Balka Suman, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and MLA Aroori Ramesh Srihari, KTR visited the home of the family of Koppu in Begumpet and condoled the death and consoled the bereaved family who were weeping inconsolably.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao promised all necessary and possible help to have the body flown back, and officials were making efforts to have it done as soon as possible, Srihari said. He also promised to provide emergency visas to the family members to have the body brought back in 4-5 days. According to information, due to it being the weekend, the process of sending the body to India will take time.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in a Twitter message said that she was moved by the incident. "The Centre will extend all possible support to Sharath's family members," she said. "We are talking to the US Embassy officials to get help to have the body shifted immediately."
An engineering graduate, Koppu, after three years of working in Hyderabad, left for the US to study in Missouri University. He was working part-time in J S Fish And Chicken Market, a restaurant in Kansas City where the firing incident took place.
Sharath's father Rammohan is a BSNL employee in the city, and mother Malathi is an employee in Warangal. They are living in the Dharam Karam area in Begumpet with a son and a daughter.
