Veteran Tollywood actor Kaikala Satyanarayana was rushed to the Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospital today after he reportedly complained of breathlessness.
The 86-year-old actor had suffered injuries when he slipped and fell in his residence late last month. He recovered from that and was discharged, but the bouts of ill-health that he had been suffering from the past few months continued, resulting in the incident today.
He has reportedly been put on a ventilator by the doctors of the hospital.
Several prominent persons of Tollywood called up the family members of the actor and enquired about his health.
One of the best-known Telugu film actors, Satyanarayana acted in about 800 movies, and is a favourite among the middle-aged and senior Tollywood audiences. He was last seen on the screen in 2019, in Mahesh Babu's Maharshi.
