TRS Will Never Win The By-Election In Munugodu: Kishan Reddy

Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G Kishan Reddy today said that the ruling TRS would never win the upcoming by-election in the Munugodu Assembly constituency even if Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family members camped in the constituency.

He made these remarks while addressing media persons after inspecting the arrangements being made for Sunday's public meeting of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the constituency, along with other party members.

Speaking on the occasion, he claimed that the TRS was reeling under a state of insecurity, and cited the organisation of the public meeting of KCR in the constituency a day before the scheduled public meeting of Union Home Minister Amit Shah as a manifestation of that.

He also alleged that the TRS leaders were levelling baseless allegations against their party as they were not able to digest the victory of the BJP in the Huzurabad by-election.

Calling KCR a spinmaster, he added that the CM was an expert in cheating people. He asked the CM in what area or sector Telangana had become a role model to the other States of the country.

He also claimed that the TRS-led State government was developing Assembly constituencies only when there were by-elections to them, pointing out that the CM had brought in the Dalit Bandhu scheme to defeat Eatala Rajender, but that the people of the State were smart as could be witnessed by the fact that the people of Huzurabad had blessed the BJP despite the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu scheme before the by-elections.

Commenting on the resignation of former Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, he said that the people of the State had welcomed the decision of Rajagopal Reddy. No one could stop Rajagopal Reddy's victory in the Munugodu by-election as the people of the constituency were firmly with him, and the results of the Dubbaka and Huzurabad Assembly constituency by-elections would be repeated in Munugodu, too, Kishan Reddy said.
